The Innovation Call 2020. Under the caption “Rethink Urban Living! – How do we want to live tomorrow? Intelligent – efficient – humane! ”The business metropolis Ruhr calls on the start-up scene, founders and lateral thinkers nationwide to submit their ideas.

Digitalization has already found its way into many areas of everyday life and togetherness, but continues to pose numerous challenges for our society. To address these challenges, the Innovation Call is already entering its fourth round this year.
Young creatives, founders and existing start-ups can submit their ideas and solutions to today’s problems until June 30, 2020 at 2 p.m. The overarching topic: How can urban life be improved? What role does advancing digitization and technology play in urban development, energy supply or resource conservation? How do we manage not to lose sight of humanity?
A qualified jury from architecture and urban development, innovation economics and project development, marketing and start-up scene decides who receives an invitation to the Innovation Lab. There, the focus is on the exchange with experienced mentors who ultimately evaluate the final pitch and decide who will be in the match up! moves in.
At the end of the trip, the winner (s) will not only have access to business leaders and networking circles from the Business Metropole Ruhr, but also the opportunity to realize their vision with the help of a tailor-made three-month support program.
